Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Our Senior Care Navigators lead the Reception Team. The Reception Team provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Our Reception Team make the most of patient appointments with the Practice Clinicians.

Scott Thomson is out First Contact Physiotherapist and is the first point of contact for all things musculoskeletal. His role is to triage and consult with patients who present with acute MSK problems. An FCP does not provide ongoing physiotherapy sessions; they triage as an initial point of contact and then either treat within the consultation or refer to external services.

Scott works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Kathryn Darley is our Wellbeing Link Worker. Wellbeing Link Workers have been employed by the Selby Town PCN to work in GP practices and are part of the offer of Social Prescribing for patients. 

Kathryn works on a Tuesday and Thursday.

Vicky is a Mental Health Practitioner and the first contact for patients (age 18 and over) presenting with mental health problems.  

Vicky works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
